Veterans Plaza Ceremonies

Service.   Sacrifice.  Honor.  Reflect.

The Veterans Plaza located on the Mall in the heart of Brunswick, Maine, represents a tribute by a grateful nation for the sacrifices made by all veterans of all military branches and the Merchant Marines throughout our nation’s history. The Plaza serves as an educational tool for future generations as a reminder of the high costs associated with defending our nation’s freedom. This unique tribute to veterans represents the culmination of a three-year effort including an evolving design, coupled with a fundraising campaign raising more than $500,000 through support by both civilian and veteran individuals, businesses, non-profit organizations, foundations, events and the Town of Brunswick.
